yeah..bfd...another rx8 w/ clear corners.. :D

I got them, WITH bulbs, from japanparts on ebay for $57 SHIPPED...took 8 days.

One can see they are larger than the OEM corner lights...and w/ the amber bulb there will be no Washington State (Revenue Collection) Patrol bitchin at me.

How hard were they to install? Did you have to remove the front bumper cover etc.?

Thanks,

Less than 20 minutes...I used the DIY thread...removed 3 of the inner-fender 'screw' things...then the one screw holding the lamp in. The bulb is connected to a plug which is attached to the bumper - remove that plug at the attachment point, and it's much easier to disconnect the two pieces.

I just got mine last week from the same person, and they came in 4 days. Did you remove the reflector piece like in the DIY? I had trouble with it and then gave up

Now all you need is a giant wing...I think clear corners was my first mod too. Car just doesn't look right without them in my opinion.

I left my reflector plate in as well. Really simple mod and a great DIY.

I don't think this mod couunts as rice, it complements the car.

Removing the reflector really isn't that difficult. Just hang on tight w/pliers and pull really hard.

To remove the reflector, just use a screwdriver (minus) and poke it, and it will pop out. Then you will just have to "navigate" the reflector to the exit.

Clears look great......I took the reflector out of mine.....its not that difficult especially if you follow the DYI.....it also gives it a better look when its lit.....
I just finished putting on strakes......they give the clears even a nicer look
