Goodbye, Im moving on

Well, I too sold my 8. She went to a good home and the new owner had already registered on here befor he picked up the car. Below is my new ride. The 8 was fun, but this car puts a stupid looking grin on my face from ear to ear.

BTW, for fans of the "Hot wives/girlfriends" thread, Ill be sure to post any new pics of Missy with the Vette here as well.

c5 vette's with 40-50k around here go for $20,000. Cheap for the amount of performance you get. I would get one, but I don't want to look like a douchebag driving that in to work making the same amount of money as my co-workers who are driving civics.

Yeah, I seen that. Congrats on the C6! They are still a ways out of my price range. My theory is a Vette is similar to an 8, but with power to spare. The Corvette has a near 50/50 balance, due to a transaxle design. The biggest thing for me is the sound. Mine has dual exhaust with an H pipe and no mufflers.

And the kicker is....................................I AVERAGED 31.2 MPG on the highway at 70 mph!!!

Nice buy. You definitely need to lower that though. The gap bothers me. Haha.

Very nice lotus! I used to work near the lotus plant in Scottsdale Arizona and got to drive by and see them outside parked all the time. We have a few of them that frequent the SCCA autocross locally in Phoenix as well.

I love the color too.

I know Reed! I can't believe how friggin good the Vette's gas milage is. I made it from Wilmington, DE to Winstead, CT and only used a bit over half a tank of gas....242 miles total! Average gas milage was around 29 MPG. It would have been better, but on the NJ Turnpike, I was just too tempted to open up the taps, lol.

I believe the new owners name is Nick. He actually lives a few miles from me around Rochelle I think. No K&N stickers on my car though. I also gave him an OEM spoiler I had for the car that I never put on, so it might be sporting that now.

Ill have the ne car out at Hooters this Sunday hopefully.
