The car lover formally known as rx8wannahave presents...
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I finally got it guys/gals, I finally got me a RX8. My deal:
$25,000 w/TTT "out the door price"
Paying under $350 per month!
2005 6spd Base (I wanted the sport package, but with every drive I care less and less about it)
I have already put 112 miles on it and I finally was able to pull myself out of the car to share with everyone my new baby.
So much work went into searching for my RX8...I'm so tired and I'm still in shock a bit since I got it this past Tuesday. Sorry I did not share faster...but WOW, I'm in love more and more as I drive it.
Some early notes:
YES, the cup holders get warm
I feel like I'm lacking some storage space (look at the picture, I'm trying to find a place for my cell)
Initial quality is great
I don't feel like the car is slow or lacks torque (and keep in mind I aint pushing the girl past 5K RPM until after break in)
Seats are comfortable
Cloth seats are of high quality
Rear seat space was GREAT with my wife and sister in law in the car
EVERYONE LOVES IT!!!!
So far I've driven 112 miles and the fuel gauge is above the half way point, so it looks like I MIGHT be getting OK fuel economy...more info to come.
OK, I have to go drive again...it's like a drug...so I'll catch you guys/gals later! :D
Here are some pic's of the old girl...maybe it's time I change my name??? :D

I kinda hate to point this out, but your user name hasn't changed. I think maybe you need a new e-mail address to go along with your new ride.
Also, although it may serve as a cup warmer in the AT version, the covered recession behind the stick is actually a cell phone holder -- this can be clearly deduced from the fact that there is a place to plug a recharger into the next rearward compartment.

Woohoo! I think we alll are happy for you. They want to sell cars and make money, they just don't have to make all their money off of you...
P.S. I was bragging about gas mileage the first couple of tanks myself, now, not so much

Guys...I just stare at it in the garage n stuff...LOL
I kinda can't belive I finally got one, now I'm officially one of you...LOL
Now to the mod's...LOL, naaa...I aint touching the engine (maybe everything else too) until the warranty is over. It's such a fun car to drive...I like the little burble sound the rotary makes.
It's still sinking in...so I'll say more later!
