I put my neice and nephew in it today, in the back...while it was parked, and they started to cry when I took them out. They are both close to 3 years old. My neice insisted I take her out in it so I'll do that tomorrow.
I'm so happy to have her...A GREAT CHRISTmas gift, clears and more to come soon enough...
GOD BLESS and Happy new year!

Hey, another tip for where to put the cellphone - If you have a small flip type phone, you can take out the ash tray right in front of the stick and it fits perfectly. It gets a little bit warm, but it doesn't seem to hurt anything. Have fun with it, I know I am :D

High Fives! :D
See the power of sticking together! You had given up and now look at that black beauty nestled in your drive! All that frustration now is a thing of the past. AWESOME!

Yeah, I guess it was user error. Something about stick-shift's that I have always wondered about. WHY, does pressing the clutch in 1st sometimes not work.
What I mean is, I push in the clutch normally about 85% of the way and remove my foot at a certain rate. Sometimes, it happens to all us stick guys/gals, the rate that worked 99% of the time in 1st will not work and you bog down the engine and it cuts off.
ARRR....why is that?

Screw gas mileage
Here's what's going on down there
http://auto.howstuffworks.com/clutch.htm
you're probably releasing too fast or on a different surface that makes it harder for your wheels to turn. if you release the clutch too fast, there won't be enough power to turn the wheels yet and once the transmission is engaged the engine will stop because the wheels aren't moving

I just wanted to thank everyone for all your help and all the "congrats"!!!! I liked my cars of the past even if they were old and abused before I got to them, but I really LOVE my 8.
I'm so greatful...so happy with my RX8, even saying "My RX*" just warms my heart. Thanks again my rx8club peeps....THANKS!!!
Note: About the name change, I think I'm leaning on keeping my name the same but go to the launge (you might have to search) and give me your suggestions. I was thinking of doing a poll after...
