New 2005 Car.
3 Days of polishing so far. Finish is as good as new. Maybe better? The gold spec really really comes through.
No this is not photoshopped. I only used my iPhone.
Hehe. Doesn't she look HAPPY??

That's the gold speckle in the paint. The iPhone picked up the gold speckles that way. Normally, they aren't that visible. But, again... it's not like I haven't seen this before on other cars. Car polishing makes the clear coat much more transparent.
I have lots of photos of my car, and in some the gold really comes through. Now though, after being freshly polished... they reeeally come though on the iPhone camera.
I'm not the only one on this board that polishes their car. I'm sure I don't have to explain the difference between wax and polish. Everyone knows.... right?
I've been polishing for 3 days, with a Ultimate compound and with show car glaze. I put down my rotary-buffer and just stuck to my orbital-buffer... which takes a lot longer, but... with this car, I really don't mind.
I think I'm still labelled as the local clean fanatic. I run a car polishing business on the side. It's fun. Well, for a nut like me I guess. If the paint isn't crazy good on my own car, who's going to want to hire my skills?
