Keep in mind that dewalling is okay but adding a K&N panel filter will get you no real HP but it will allow twice as much dirt etc. Through compared to a good paper filter. pros running the renny generally use the stock intake with a paper filter.

Oh and here is a shitty shot from a meet Saturday night It was my first time at this spot and the lighting was very dim and I forgot my tripod

I was just giving Loggins a really simple immediate mod that actually give a small result. Before I had my CAI (which I just put in this past weekend BTW), I ran the dewall with the K&N and had no issues. I liked the set up.

Yeah the "dewall" and VFAD removal is a good idea. I took a bit further but I run the well tested WIX filter.

ya that buildup is only like 2 1/2 weeks worth on the exhaust tips =[ steel wool is in the garage so i always forget to take it out when i wash her.

I'm just messin' with him, it's not toooooooo bad. But at least if he does it for real it is easily removable if he gets tired of it.
