What number is mine of the 1,000 made...
If I figure it out I'll let you know. A friend suggested looking all around inside the car,
(His STI has a plate stating his # ) in the manual, paperwork, inside of doors or asking the dealership to look up the VIN #

Awesome!
Thanks for the pics. I think this is the first time I see a 40th AE with black emblems. Looks very good.
I might get some tint in my car after the winter

I think it would look better with the black wheels.
I'm also thinking the tint probably has a sharper contrast with the black wheels on that car as well.

i did the plasti dip method on the badges, theres a thread on it doing it here but i followed the method from a Lexus form as i did it before it was posted here. i plan on doing some follow up picks after the winter to see how they held up.

Okay guys, like many of you have already thought about... Mazdaspeed....
My conclusion is this: nobody has our color so finding used parts will be difficult. Which is further complicated because i have never seen ANY bodykit on a metro gray...
So maybe keep it modest and just get the MS spoiler??
Conclusion: Authentic fit nice, downside is finding one and painting it, looking at spending 1k.
replicas suck and cost 500-800 to have it painted and fitted nicely.
Conclusion: Carbon fiber ms wing replica fits great and is $500-550.
WILL A CF MS WING LOOK OUT OF PLACE ON OUR CAR???

I like, i would like to get that but i have the app pckg so -__-
Im going to start doing some autox this spring and i see pics of hard turning and people almost scraping their bumpers WITHOUT the oem lip... will i wreck my lip?
How well does our suspension work compared to other rx8's?
Im getting myself PT sways for my birthday and my gf is getting me eyelids
If you guys PM me, i can link you to cheap eyelids on ebay, my friend has them on his VR and they are so nice, they're basically Kei office replicas. I think its like 19.99 and 20 shipping and they're painted.
OH and i forgot to tell you guys i got the RaceRoots single exit exhaust. I love it

Just purchased a set of eyelids off ebay for 39bucks shipped for my birthday on feb 17.
My friend has the same pair in VR and they are spot on, they take 2 or 3 weeks to receive them.
not sure if posting ebay links is allowed but................

Oh and i decided to not get sway bars and to save for rims. Im looking at Varrstoen TE37 replicas for 900 bucks. I trust their quality over Rota and XXR, and at 18x9.5+30 they weigh in at 19,20lbs.

For those who are wondering, this was taken in Sandy Hook, New Jersey. The building is a battery potter and dates back to 1890

I've been holding back on the idea of spending money with body kit parts for now. But they certainly add life to the 40th AE! I guess the paint color is so unique, it really looks great on those accessories.
That pic is awesome.
As always Pico, your car sets the bar high!!!
