another bump to this thread
Some crappy cell phone pics from Bear Mountain, NY:
And the mandatory interior pic. Even though the Metropolitan Grey Mica is a great color, yet the interior is the best part of the 40th AE

Pico,
Your car is awesome. It was actually part of my inspiration to search and buy a 40th AE. Always enjoy looking at pics you have posted.
The clear corners look really good with the metropolitan gray mica. Need to get a pair of those

I have a question I'm new to this site and recently acquired this model rx8. I love the car. I just have the intergrated iPod cord, it's having issues would anyone know where I can get another one? I'm stationed in nc and I'm back from deployment I want to make this car shine above all the others around. Help?!? Lol will post pics soon

40th anniversary Edition
I agree, if that is a 40th Anniversary Edition you have ruined the exterior with that red whatever!
Who in their right mind would take a beautiful exclusive paint job and do THAT to it ? Again if that is a 40th Anniversary Edition, where are the great OEM wheels, another exclusive?
Everyone has the right to customize their car, but that boy-racer look spoils this car whether just a metro grey or 40th anniversary edition. Sorry, just my opinion.

wow, that's something I would never do to my car. IMHO, the red is way too overpowering, and the design of the stripes themselves is just odd.
Take them off!!!
Well, it could be a photoshop. The badge on the fender looks like the 40th AE badge, but there's like a triangle thing on top of it (hard to tell since the pic is not very good quality). Also, the wheels seem photoshopped as well.

It's a vinyl and was on the car when I bought it. I am going to keep it on now and I bought it for 16000 clear car fax and 20000 miles on it. The interior is red. :/ didn't have to bash my car guys was just looking for some advice.
