Pistonhater, what do you want me to do about it? What would you like me to put there, that is if you are interested. Only one of you guys sent me a PM like i asked.

Due to the weird *** weather i was not able to cut/test cut on wednesday. Im trying to arrange another date.

drop me a PM, so that i can do 4 or 5 at a time and save a lot of time. Doing 1 at a time is going to **** the CNC guy off. Hes not even supposed to be letting me use it
Will send a PM soon. I was under the impression that you were still brainstorming/designing this thing.

Beside...you know...some of us don't live 24hrs on this forum, lol.

im thinking about taking my grille out in the front to expose my shiny intake...

thoughts? i started doing it and then got lazy and stopped.

and im on the prowl for 25mm spacers to space out my wheels. Im resisting the temptation to buy shitty cheap wheels.

Here's a quick shot of the tinted tails and blacked out badges at night. I'll get some better shots up when I can.

I like the idea of making the intake more visible. I wanna show off my nice dark red one haha. Buti think there would need to be some way of protecting the nice shiny pipe and air filter from being pelted by everyday road debris. I'll start brainstorming something to keep it safe cuz i think it looks pretty cool.

if the crash bar wasnt there i would say do it, but it looks funny to me that there is this opening but you can only see thru the bottom half of it...

Plus you have to remove the foam from the crash bar as well. If you are not showing off an intercooler it's not worth showing off.

exactly my thought, i was going to form a thin layer of plastic over the foam.. (vacuum formed) and then paint it black.

too much work. bleh.

To black out the badges I just used black Plasti-Dip

Here's a couple quick shots in the light of the tinted tails, which were done with night shades:

i've also decided that the work required to remove the grill isn't worth it. Might try it this summer when i have more time but until then i'll just leave it.

lots of confusion, theres not a lot of action going on saturdays so thats when i wanted to do it.. then....

the guy was sick
then sandy came
then the work schedule changed for thanksgiving and nobody was there saturday
then my finals came for my studio class and had to do a triple allnighter to finish fri-monday with no sleep. I took about 3 hours or so with the guy while i had to finish my final since i want these made already.

and then i forgot to go to school yesterday. It slipped my mind.

All of the progress that i have is that we spent approx 3hrs setting up the cut file and then the bit broke because it didnt drill, it just scratched the surface. Then the second bit got stuck, and the 3rd bit got dropped on the ground and broke. I got a different type of bit to try, a lot more expensive and the guy thinks that something is going to have to **** up massively to break this bit...

but who knows.

Its a 1/8 bit and we were using 1/16 before. I hope the bit is small enough to get the details i have in the file...

VLED's had a clearance sale going on about a month ago, 6k D2S bulbs for 20 bucks, i think the original was somewhere between 60-100??

My friend just spent 300ish on a full 6k conversion on his BB. it really changed the look of the car.

Anybody else? I want to see some sexy coilovers or wheels!
