Calling All Guages + Monitoring devices (!)
If people want to get forced induction (like me) at some point, monitoring stuff with extra guages is a good option.
Can people post picks of their cockpits and where they mounted stuff and what they mounted?
Can stuff go on the steering wheel without blocking dash? IS their cool electronic multi0task stuff to use? etc etc
Cheers!

my eyes are bleeding, but i'll try to answer this anyway.
i have a thread about my setup. i'm not going to search for it though, just search for threads started by me with "PTP" in the title. This should also help you practice searching.
next - on the steering wheel? Hmm... there is one gauge setup i saw on a Mazda 3 where the guy had a multifunctional gauge on the steering wheel and it didnt block his dash. Not a great place to mount it though because it invovles taking your eyes way off the road.
yes their is cool electronic multitask stuff to use. dephi has some montiors. there are dual flip gauges, etc.
now that im done answering your questions, heres what you really need to know...
1 - Figure out which gauges are important and WHY. Start doing some research.
If you are going to boost, you need to know A LOT about what your getting into. and by doing research i dont mean just asking and expecting us to spoon feed you the information all the time, start searching and reading.
2 - start searching if you want to see how gauges look. There are already threads on the board that have many many pics of different gauges and different gauge setups.

Cheers BigO
Now, I have done a lot of research etc, and asked questions, but I thought it would be good for people to show a thread with PICS of different gauge positions and actual guages. I dont need practise searching, but thanks for the suggestion
I want to show oil pressure and temp, water temp (not as imp), air/fuel, and boost. Ideally I want as little as possible in the cockpit, and I personally want a solution which goes electonically via the satnav OEM screen I have. However the electronic solution may not be avaialble for my needs, so I may need external guages instead or as well.
If you know much about electronic stuff it would be intersting to hear your thoughts.

WOW! you have made millions of threads! nice guage pod, but as I mentioned above, I have an OEM Satnav which prevents top mount guages like yours or the mazdaspeeds.
The defi controller thing looks interesting and I like your glovebox mount too. Also I know Defi do some electronic guages and I was wondering if they can be done so it outputs results to a screen, ie, my satnav one (with some mods done).

I dont think Defi has anything that you can use to tap into a screen output. You should ask around in the interior, electronics, sub forum. somebody there might know.
Here's what a complete defi setup can look like.
I would pass on getting so many gauges. A/F is not something you need to monitor all the time. Just get a wideband, and make sure its tuned properly, then maybe check in on it at different times. Wideband Gauges are rarely very accurate.
Here's another good thread.

May want to post your question of getting a gauge pod that displays out to a navi, in that thread.

yeah thanks for that...
this thread I started mainly as a chance to assemble a bunch of gauge pics , rather than find out info about anything specific...... but hey this is probably more useful too!
Happy Xmas!
