Dave over at Accolade was nice enough to send me over some prototype eyelids that will be hitting the market soon. I was able to score them for free as long as I was willing to paint them myself. The end result is pretty good in my eyes.

Can we get a shot from the front, except lower to the ground and maybe back 10-20 feet or so? Looks nice so far. Did you paint them YOURSELF, or did a shop do it? If a shop did, cost?

It would be nice if they had posted prices on their site instead of having to email all my info first.

 

What are they made of? Are they double stickie taped!

 

I'm not sure what they were made of - though I know they WEREN'T made of vinyl. They were quite rigid and molded to the shape of the lights. They are adhered with some exterior double stick tape. I taped every square inch of the eyelids so they aren't going anywhere.

 

they are made of fiberglass.....i know i got a set too and have it at the paint shop.....im getting my set tomorrow....yours look a little different than mine though....less aggressive for some reason

 

Post some pics when you get them on - I'd be curious to see the difference if there is any. In the very least we can keep all these Accolade eyelids in one thread.
