next are pix of a pretty clean FD...Abels car..a "REAL" Mazdaspeed8.. and Todd Kaneko's RotaryPowered Five en Dime....

The Mazdaspeed 8 was supposedly turbocharged...it had a Front mount intercooler and the interior had a boost gauge...

Nice Pics!

It was nice to see another good turn out, seeing some old friends as well as meeting some new rotorheads! Too bad it was so damn HOT!

I'm waiting to learn more about the Pettit Supercharger!!!

Hopefully, this was not the last Seven Stock.

I like to see the petit supercharger. It looks very neat from the picture.

That first black 8 in your pics was super clean, I was able to smell the clean as I walked by.

The Mazdaspeed 8 that was inside was supercharged that was inside as far as I found out.

The developer of the petit supercharger said that it will be an easy bolt on system and it should be out By Christmas. Those pictures above is the prototype, the finished product will have a stainless steel/chrome finish (I think thats what he said). I road in it and it was nice more torque on the lows and highs. He says it will add 50 more horses. You can hear the cool sounding jet sound at every shift.

Pettit also said the supercharger will be available for the auto and will be easier to install than with the 6-spd.

My concern is the transmission holding up to the additional 50hp.

Mazda already de-tuned the auto so we'd be back up to the "high performance" Renesis hp range...

^ exactly.

That doesn't make sense. I can't believe they would market the supercharger to just people with AT's!

There's Erwins! Never got a chance to meet up with him. At least the black vinyl was removed.

Not exactly. They are making it for both transmissions.

Hot!!! Are you guys serious? The weather there was awesome! I didn't break a sweat all weekend. I only had to wear sunblock so I didn't get burned. There is hardly any humidity there. Come to Houston sometime. You'll sweat on a 70 degree day here and I'm not joking. You guys have it good. You just don't know it. Your smog sucks though.
