I really wish those pictures would get better and we could see the article. It's a little frustrating knowing very very very elementary japanese. I can make out "Big change" and that's it. Otherwise, I would assume that this is pretty promising.

Translated the article from the magazine.

Well now we know of the body changes and interior changes, and that they are testing the 16B or X which ever you want to call it. I am not hearing anything more as of yet.
I was told that they won't mind people looking at the car just no pictures at this time. Not a lot to see as in the "Spy" shots. Dash is covered and all the cladding on the outside. Not to mention they will NOT open the hood.
One should be arriving at it's next destination today. And my people are waiting patiently.

If that's the facelifted RX-8 on the mag., I think they've made the design too fuzzy .. rear end resembles an older eclipse with RSX-shaped tail lights.. more sleek foglights are nice but was hoping for a vertical one

All I can say is ..so far .. much ado about not much of anything. Front 'may' be an improvement, everything else.. meh .. I can take it or leave it. From the rear view above, it's easy to see it really isn't significantly different.
If there aren't 15-20% more mazda 'ponies' (junior version of everyone elses horses) under the hood.... or 2-300lbs weight reduction ...
.... what was the point really? It'll be the same car from the driver's perspective.
