Your Thoughts .....
I just got the MS kit put on my lighting 8 . I was wondering if I should just keep the stock exhaust tip or go with something a bit larger. Does anyone know the Rx8 exhaust dimensions for the OEM stock exhaust, and should I go larger ? If so .... what dimensions would you suggest ?

by ms kit you mean what?
AFAIK ther's not any performance gains at all on the ms stuff, or any other aftermarket exhaust so far. you just get a diffrent exhaust note. Now if you are going FI then it'll make a diffrence.

I have the mazda speed body kit . Im just looking for exhaust tips that would look better from the rear view. I feel like the stockOEM Pipes look a little small .

I went and listened to the Mazdaspeed Exhaust at the dealer and I had their car run next to mine (when I had a stock exhaust) and there was very little difference between the two. The MS exhaust is like 600+dollars. You can get the far superior, IMHO, Racing Beat Exhaust, for less money and it has a very pleasant exhaust note and RB claims a very small horsepower increase (like 4) whereas the MS exhaust is none and the tips aren't that bigger than stock. The RB exhaust tips look aggressive but not overdone.
