Many Bmw's, Mercedes, and VW,s are not made in Germany, but in the US and Mexico. Plus labor and cost of living is very high in Japan. That's why most Japanese cameras are no longer being made there. I own an Acura and I own a Porsche, don't tell me it's only in the badge.

You're exactly right. But if you put a Lexus badge on a $25K Camry you can sell them for $40K.
