Hope you're just making this up to be funny
Some of us don't have a sense of humor about this sort of thing. Could have been a pedestrian.
Seen my share of things, animate and inanimate, hit by vehicles as a former volunteer fireman and EMT.

I don't know if I'd say I appreciate it, but it is interesting, I guess.
Did you observe a moment of silence for our dearly departed feline friend?
Oh, and those whiskers can be pretty sharp - did you check the tires for punctures?
OK, I had to make at least one stupid insensitive remark, sorry.

Well, I put people in two catagories:
1. Those who stop when they hit objects (be it animate or inanimate)
2. Those who do not stop.
If anyone here studied psychology in school then they know what I am talking about, and know my analogy (less the different wording).
Threads such as this only show what type of person is behind the computer screen.
Oh Boy!

Good for the 8 that it handles unexpected "bumps" well. Very bad for the cat! I'm not a big cat lover, but I hate running over anything in my car, be it a squirrel, frog, cat, or whatever.

I hit a small dog one time in my RX-7. It jumped out behind a car that went past me. I was only doing like 30 but I couldn't stop in time. As a dog lover, it still haunts me.

ok some people like, love or what ever...cats. Then keep them in your house or on a leash..yes leash laws apply to cats.
i don't hate cats nor do i want one. If you let it outside and it gets hit by a car shed your tears if you like but surely will not.
Just my cold oppinion.
