Just left a Prelude in the dust.... let him catch up and left him again! I love this car - He was pretty surprised to pull up next to me and find out I was old enough to be his mother... Think I love that even more.

Installed these suckers:

Man the clearance on the front clips is insanely tight. Rears went in no problem, fronts even when oreinted properly were a pain in the @ss. Had to tap them in gently with a hammer

I have been playing with my new Cobb access port. I customized the stage 1 tune to increase the Redline and lower the fan temps. I'll have to do more research so I don't blow up my engine.

Used my RX-8 to pick someone up at LAX and made use of the roof rack, had two passengers and with the additional 235 lbs in the trunk and on the roof, it's the heaviest load I've had on this car. Still handled well in turns and up the hill. Despite the weight, I refrained using the A/C coz I was affraid of stalling/overheating while driving in the near 95°F weather yesterday.

^Same here.

Woke up a little later than normal and wouldn't have been able to make it on time if I rode my bicycle.

I got pulled over in my RX-8 today! first day I've had it. The cop yelled at me for a bit and then let me go with a stern warning. Im far too lucky. apparently posted speed limit 40 (square white sign) and yellow triangle 25 means that the corner speed limit is 25, not 40. I always thought it was a caution, recommended speed. My car is now black listed in my home town the first day I owned it. 2 other interceptors showed up. for the stop. Im a marked man now. Taking it easy from now on. Car is a head turner anyways. More time for people to admire it.

100*f heat today in NYC... The 8 was still semi clean, but I wanted to make sure the surface is immaculate before I put on my new cover. $200 for my Covercraft Techalon with Block-It Evolution 4 layer polypropylene fabric. Awwww yeaaaa. Though baking in the sun, rush washing two cars wasn't so "awww yeaaa".

Pulled over again. And again - No Ticket... Not even ripping it. Luckiest man alive.. Then some blue Rx-8 pulls up along side me not 5 minutes after i'm let go. I did resist temptation. Kept the speed limit.
Never speeding again. Too Close. Too Soon.
