What are clear corners?

Like strakes, I keep seeing posts about them, but have no idea what they are. I asked abuot strakes and now I know about them. Clear corners, though...?

The corner markers on the front fenders. In the US, cars have amber reflectors and lights on the front corners and reds on the rear. Elsewhere in the world, white on the fronts is OK. Most colors look better with the whites so we buy Japanese domestic market (JDM) lights to replace our amber markers.
The rules for color are the DOT rules when the car is built. The colors allowed on the street are up to the states.

"Clear corners" is French for "overpriced pieces of plastic" :D

If you'd done a search, you would have come up with a number of threads that explain what they are. Here's one: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-yourself-forum-73/diy-side-marker-clear-corner-lights-installation-10379/
