Using the stock navigation as a TV or DVD player

Are there anything out there that will convert the stock navigation into either a DVD player or a TV with input? I think I found one for $600 or something, anything else?

Look in the DIY section there is a great post about how to do it. You can get the one that costs 600 that has multiple inputs and hooks up to the stereo or you can get the econo one for half that price that is just for one input. Its the AV Electronic video switcher mazdaparts.com has it for sale and check out there website. It seems like the best option.

Yup we have this...and the Video on Nav lite version seems like what you want based on price.
