I heard the RX8 is like the hardest car to flip, and yet I've seen multiple on their sides since joining the forum. Then again, none were on the roof, so maybe it is hard to flip them... all the way over.

is it just me or does the driver seat look like a different seat?? it doesnt have the two tone on the bottom part ithink....

 

no your right. I didnt notice it before. Looks like he had the upholstery redone.. the cloth seats do wear down fast and look awful after a few years..

 

yeah i was gonna call and ask them if it was a seat cover or was the entire seat redone, and cloth seems to hold up better than the leather, like the seats in mine looked brand new, it depends on how much care a person puts in the car

 

also whats good is you dont slide around as easy in cloth than leather.. then you dont stick to them in hot weather.. etc etc

i want recaros.. lol

 

yeah i prefer the cloth seats to the leather in the rx8 except for the r3 recaros

 

R3 recaros are not leather. its half leather half cloth

i found two used ones but they were still like 22-24k so outta my league i came across an 09 sport for only 18k but its too bare bones for me

 

go bargin with them. you can get it cheaper maybe around 17-18... they arnt going to sell them very fast.


some guys are able to walk away with brand new r3's around 23-25k..

 

17 is too much lol...especially with nationwide not trying to pay me a fair price

 

So I got a new car not a rx8 but a cobalt ss instead, love the car except the turbo issue I am having let's see what the dealership tells me

 

well sad to see you go.. and too bad on not able to get another rx8.

the car was clean but of course i know the person before me probably ran it hard but oh well........the guy traded it in for a camaro ss and his dad brought a z06, they didn't even have a chance to put the balt on the lot

but it was crazy the moment i said in my head i was not gonna get another 8 i started to see them pop up like flies, they even had one as a trade on their lot but it was an automatic so that made me feel better i wasn't tempted at all
