gunna agree with the whole 'engine is bulletproof' concept. My buddy has a g35 he bought when living in GA. Moved back to CT and got an oil change before his long drive. They didn't fill up his oil properly and we ended up only pumping out 1 1/2 quarts of oil when he arrived in CT. No joke. No engine light, no weird noises, nothing. 2 years later and the car is still running lol.

The ability to appreciate and recognize the positive attributes that many cars have to offer is what separates the true auto enthusiastists from the fanboys.

sounds like your engine was toasted. I had the same problem with mine on hot days. Turns out my engine was failing.

I feel bad for the guy who bought your car and has no idea whats going to happen to him...
