Question Is it time to let her go?

My RX8 is getting real close to hitting 100k miles. It time for brakes, tires, springs, and shocks. My extended warranty has just expired along with the engine warranty. I am on my own now when comes to repair bills. I am thinking of just putting the money for the above parts and labor as a down payment on a Mazda 3 or a Hyundai Veloster. Give me your honest opinion, is a guy who has no time and money to play with sports cars anymore with a small family need to move on?

All honesty for your family i would say yes it is get sum thin that'll save you a ton of time and money. This car is meant for someone who will take care of it and has the money to throw at it for gas and oil :P and new engine if compression fails.
You'll have money to spend on the fam :D and this car is expensve XD.
Both cars are pretty good if your gonna get em XD i like the 3 more in my opinion
Go with what you feel is right though :D

Do what's right and get a practical car for you and your family. For myself, we have a Mazda 6, and i don't have to trade my rx8 anytime soon...

As much as I want to suggest to keep the car, I believe letting it go is the best thing to do. Get a Mazdaspeed 3 or a Veloster Turbo and have the best of both worlds. OR, the new Mazda 6! Man do I love the design on that car...

Its a known fact the EightCostsMoney lol. If you're dead set on trading it in, i'd say go with the 3, a reliable small family car.

my brother has a veloster, pretty nice looking car. A turbo veloster would be sick, as his is damn slow.

^If OP's looking for turbo he could also get a Speed3. Turbo version of a Mazda 3.

Does the Volester turbo take regular gas? I know the Speed 3 does not.
