Swapping with Dealer?
So today i was with my little brother going to look at some used cars and while we were at the dealership i noticed that they had two 8's. One of them had the Greddy SP exhaust on it and i thought "i wonder if they would give me that exhaust if i gave them my stock exhaust plus some cash?"
I was in a hurry so we had to leave before i could talk with someone but what do yall think? Would they do something like that? I know its easier (for the most part) to sell a OEM car that doesn't look like its been abused.

lol alot of views but no input. I know a local dealer had a 8 traded in with a turbo kit and they took off the kit and sold it on ebay for like 1,500 and it was the greddy kit so i dont see why they wouldnt mind swapping me.

To be honest they probably would. I personally would never buy a modded car. I wonder if that dealer told the people that bought it that it was boosted. When I bought my Acura years ago i test drove one and while going through the trunk I saw lines for nitrous and the guy tried to tell me it wasn't sprayin'. Needless to say I bought another car.

The dealer was def not going to tell the person it was boosted. I would defiantly go there at night if i knew i couldn't get nailed by camera's lol.
I guess tomorrow ill go back up there and see if we can work something out.

You will have to go through the sales manager and probably buy them new gaskets but I am sure if its a reasonable enough sales manager they would do it. Tell them you will pay the labor to swap and buy him lunch or something. They usually remove mods and the techs keep them most the time if they can get away with it.
