Spare Tire blocks TrunkLight

Did anybody notice this problem. I can't see in my trunk at night, Im going to install a additional light or something. The spare tire kit blocks the trunk light!

Not only blocks the light, but blocks the access thru the rear seat and gobbles up half the trunk. After removing the spare about 3 days after getting the car, I finally sold it. I'll just takes my chances.

Yeah it's kinda dumb; I'm guessing the spare tire was an afterthought in the design process. It would be nice to see it fixed for 2005. A minor annoyance though. Gives a good reason to tinker

I did not mean any bad by it.

All I have is the little one. I WISH I had a larger one as well.

BTW - I TOTALLY agree with the trunk light. I am about ready to yank the whole thing out. It eats up way too much trunk space.
