I went out this morning to jump in the 8 and head to New Hope for brunch, and as I'm walking up I see a little trim of white along the front edge of the hood. It looked like flurries of snow. My brain couldn't process it -- it's 50 degrees out, that can't be snow, wth?? It can't be snow! Finally I get close enough and see it's bubbles, like... WTH, it's SOAP bubbles!

My brain still isn't connecting the dots. Holy crap, how did soap fall from the sky and get on my car?? No, wait, somebody had to PUT soap on my car. ON! MY! CAR!!!

This probably all flitted through my head in about two and a half seconds. Finally, it clicks. I look up, and across the way my goofy neighbor who does nothing but wash his '89 Honda every day of the week is on his porch, grinning, and holds up high a long-handled brush.

I'm surprised the look I shot him didn't pierce his skull and end him right there. He stopped smiling. He took a step backwards. I just said to him, "No. DON'T." He kept saying, okay, okay, okay. I got in the car and left.

I watched as the wind blew the soap bubbles up the hood towards me.

I need to see what it'll cost to get bailed out for simple assault charges. Maybe aggravated.

 

I am a little confused, did he wash your car? Or did a little soap splash on it from him washing his? If it was some splash then I guess I wouldnt be so upset, if he actually washed it I can understand why you are upset . . .

Nooooooo, he took his long-handled scratchy brush and washed my car!!! This guy has been asking to wash my car for months, like he's obsessed with it. haha I always said No, thanks, no, thanks. Aargh, my car was violated! lol I think he thought I was going to thank him, from the big grin on his face, like he gave me a freebie to get me hooked on his washes? :-D

 

i would be pissed if someone came onto my property and touched my car. no tresspassing signs on my property, being the 2nd to last house on a dead end road and guns keep people away

 

That's a pretty kool neighbour you got man!!

But yeah looking at how mazda worked so hard to achieve the color finishes on rx8's i'd be pissed if any once touched and rubbed my car.

Especially if it was already expressed that he not do it.
That's asking for a good old fashioned *** kicking imo.
I would definitely need bail, cause I'm extremely protective of my 8, bordering on psychopathic, and would have gone ballistic.
