Well, my car stalled on me a few days ago and I thought the worst) compression loss. But, I went and changed the fuel pump just to make sure. Just got done that, and the car started! It took a few seconds, so I assume that was the problem.

The car stalled out a few seconds later, it was fuel deprived again. Maybe I didn't put one of the connectors inside the fuel pump on right? Could that be it? Or does anyone have any idea? Thank you.

 

Check your fuel lines. Sounds like the pump probably needed replacing, but you could have a kink or blockage in the lines.

Wait- did you replace the filter, as well?

 

Thank you for the quick reply. Yes, I did replace the filter as well. I can't take off the fuel pump again though, retaining ring is stuck. Just ordered a new one and am going to cut this one off tomorrow. I have a feeling the line that connects to the bottom of the pump is the culprit, it was a pain in the *** to get back on.
The car did turn on and idled for 3 seconds, then died of fuel starvation again. It was a sad moment. I miss my 8. But it'll have to wait till tomorrow being I'm at work now.

 

Tomsrx8, RX8Soldier has good advice. I replaced my pump and those lines can get kinked. If that doesn't fix it, then check the following:
