So yesterday when i was getting out of my car, my lanyard got caught on my leg and ripped the switchblade key out of the ignition breaking it into about 3 pieces, luckily i got the spring, button, and everything put back into place with a little help from some super glue. Just in case i ordered a new one because that is the only key i have, so am i the only one who has screwed one of those things up?

 

Mine is fine, but they are made cheaply, especially for the price.

 

i'd prefer the keyless entry and keyless start feature....that solves almost all issues

 

that sucks. i got the keyless entry but some times it will fall out of my pocket and to the side of the seat( right side) to a spot thats barely reachable

 

bummer dude...you need tighter pockets!

 

my key broke once but i put it back together. i just saw the keyless entry this weekend at the socal beach cruise.

 

I've dropped them on the pavement and made them split in half...luckily they just snapped back together!!

 

I broke my switchblade key before I even got the car off the dealers lot.

The clip holding the battery compartment shut broke and it split into two pieces.
