I was talking to a friend of mine who has an FJ cruiser which gets pretty low mpg and he mentioned he bought one of these things http://www.scangauge.com/. Anyone ever use it? Looks pretty cool so I thought I would pass it on. Shows real time mpg and you can adjust your driving style to get better mpg. Not that I'm likely to do that but it also shows fault codes and lots of other useful info. Connects to the diag port. Sorry if this has been posted before.

I found the website a few months ago and considered getting it. I soon forgot about it. Seeing it again makes me want to get it. It would be a must if it had GPS tracking and a big memory to store the data. I like that it is small and I could then easily move it between vehicles.

Not sure if I'll get it.. but maybe.
