Okay, next week I buy a new Mazda.

I'm torn between the RX8 and Speed 6.

Somebody tell me why the heck I would by an RX8 when I can buy a FASTER Speed 6 for LESS!

Sounds like you wouldn't! Enjoy your MS6 man.

 

The RX-8 looks better, is more fun to drive, has a much higher cool factor and doesn't blow up on the dyno.

Also the MS6 is faster in a straight line but I'd put my money on the RX-8 in the corners.

 

well here are some reasons...yes the 8 isnt the fastest, but it sure is one amazing machine!

Highest Rev range of any car
you can redline it to 9,000 RPM
you're going to have people commenting on your car all the time
looks & handles so much better
finally you're going to have a hot girl in your passenger seat laughing at the guy driving the speed 6 hahah

 

If you're not looking for extra practicaility why buy one of the worst AWD turbos cars on the market when you can have one of the best RWD sport coupes on the market.

 

Alright, strike what I just said, RX-8 owners are morons. Buy the MS6

the mazdaspeed 6 is a fake 4WD, that car only got one LSD on the rear.

 

How does that make it fake AWD (it's not 4wd)?

It's most certainly faster. When it's not falling on its face as a result of the lousy R&D Mazda did on it, the MS6 is capable of running high 13s @ 98+

 

COOLNESS FACTOR......people will envy you because of the way your car looks....even if it's not faster. I DON'T CARE i'll take my car any day over any other mazda, that's why i bought it.

And speaking of quick, the MAZDASPEED6 will hit 60 in only 5.8 seconds, and run the full quarter mile in 14 seconds at 99 miles-per-hour.

It's quicker than that to 60 and for the second time, it's AWD not 4wd.

I haven't driven the Speed6 but I would recommend you take them both for an extened test drive under different conditions. In that case if practicality isn't an issue youd probably go for the 8.
