do all GT's have xenons on them or are they extra so they are only on some models?

 

GT has xenon

 

You can get Xenon on all models - Sport, Touring and Grant Touring. The Xenon headlamps are standard on Touring and GT.
The "Performance Package" upgrade is necessary to get Xenon headlamps on the Sport.

Take a look at the mazdausa site - it lists all the standard features for all the models plus features you get with the Performance Package.

 

You can get the $1300-1800 (depends on tranny) performance package on the sport trim level, but IMO upgrading to the touring (not the GT) package is the better deal. The touring package will get you everyting included in the performance package plus a sunroof, homelink, and the upgraded sound system for about $3000 above the bare bones model.

 

heated seats are a plus as well.. love my sunroof.. that was a must for me..

 

Keyless start is AWESOME!!!

You need to have it to appreciate it.

 

yes keyless start is amazing. Having had a key for years, i am loving the fact of just keeping a credit card sized item in my pocket and never having to worry about locking the damn thing in there.

 

I had a choice on my Grand Touring '06 whether to get the 6 CD changer or the Xenon for the same price. However, it was one or the other for the same price.
