Wow! That must have been a lot of work, cutting a piece of carbon fiber to fit each hole.

Mine's about to have its 4th birthday. No problem with the sunvisors. (Of course, I always fold 'em back up gently.) And I like the holes, too. They let you watch a traffic light with the sun right next to it - and moving 'em up or down slightly makes the holes opaque. Clever, Mazda… very clever.

If you live in a hot place, the visors blow up pretty regularly.
If you live in a place with speed cameras, the visors blow up the ticket since they can't see your face.

I like to go blowing through the cameras from time to time with my head on the roof liner. They get a nice picture of my lower neck.

Gee, that's interesting. In my state, the speed cameras take a picture of the license plate, not the person driving................................

In AZ, they must identify the driver, not just the car.

Really, that is the requirement everywhere (as per the 4th and 6th Amendments of the constitution), but the sheeple in various states allow their legislature to get away with murder.

in IL it doesn't really count as a speeding ticket, more the equivalent of a parking ticket -- and just like a parking ticket, it doesn't go against the driver or his insurance but it does go against the vehicle. afterall, that car DID blow a red light, right?

i have a cheetah GPS mirror that tells me when i'm coming onto a red light camera

I've been caught by a speed camera once in Washington, DC driving a Hertz rental. Hertz was kind enough to pass the fee and pic of car and plates my way.

I got nailed in Maryland back in March.
Every state rapes their constituency differently.
MD will assess points and suspend your license if you don't pay the ticket, which is plate-only.

In AZ, they have to get your face and it is administrative - there are no points.

Yeah, that wont get him off.
He will have to incriminate the person he is claiming (and they will serve him) or he has to go to court and prove that it wasn't him.

Usually, the only way out of it is if they don't get a face at all or one that is CLEARLY not the accused.

I love the holes in the visor, keep the sun from burning my retinas and I can still see above the bumper of the car in front of me.
