TX people need driving lessons

i got home from my hour commute to school (driving my neon(not proud of that btw ))
i parked it got my rx8 keys and some change so i could go wash it and apparently some idiot hit my 8 while i was at school or last night (see pics)

luckily the guy left a note but he hasn't answered yet

this is gheey

edit: any dfw people know of a good place to get this fixed?
edit2: i live in apartments and it all took place in the parking lot (incase the story didn't make sense hah)

Sorry i cant help you, but good thing he left a note for you because 90% of the people in this world wouldnt.

edit: i drive a neon as well lol what year is yours?

Ya the note is a huge advantage.... and mine is a 97 so stop whining about the 05 haha if you think they suck drive a 97 for 2 weeks....

hah i'll stop whining when it stops falling apart but overall it gets the job done

I must say, its commendable when someone does the right thing in these situations. It's so easy to drive off and never return.

Youre very fortunate.

With that said, this scenerio sucks royally regardless. Do a lot of research on bodyshops. I would post a thread in your region section to ask for opinions to get the job done right.

yeah turns out i went to high school with the guy and we're getting everything situated tomorrow

i came out really lucky in this one

Wow there's actually a decent person left in the world... definitely find a reputable body shop. Nothing worse then having shady work done on your car.

town north mazda isnt horrible... but if you look in the gulf forums a lot of guys recommend a shop that starts with a P or something there, just go look lol.

Yes, you're very lucky he left a note. You would, I would, and this guy did - but today, I bet maybe 2 out of 100 people are decent enough to do that. Twenty years ago? Maybe 10 out of 100. Every year our fellow Americans behave more and more as if they were 9 years old.

Well thats saying they had insurance. A lot of people don't leave notes because they aren't driving with insurance. You should see how many people are getting pulled over because of the new system we have here in dallas. The squad cars automatically tell officers if you don't have insurance when they are driving around.
