Paint now or wait until Spring???

Plan on getting the front bumper painted - it's full of rock chips and a scuff from a curb that came out of nowhere... was wondering if it would be better to paint now ( september, just before putting it away for the winter) or do it in the Spring.? If I do it now there will many months of sitting in storage and time to harden - but cold, which may not help... any thoughts?

Do it in the Spring, salt sand, ice. Let it set up good before ye face the elements. I had my truck painted in the winter once do to ice and a wreck, they were pissed I left it in there garage and lot for a month so the paint set to my satisfaction

I wanna do the same thing !! My bumper has so many rock chips that it would be a pain in the *** to touch up each one and it wouldn't even look good anyway. Ill prbly do this for the upcoming spring.

Seeing as how you plan to store the car for the winter, I'd paint it now and you'll be ready to go when spring rolls around!

If your putting it a way for winter , it wouldn't matter when . Only when you have the money .
