i live in new jersey i shouldnt see -30 degrees out probly just close to -10 currently i am running valvoline 5w30 non synthectic i hear all differnt things from people about what oils to use for the renesis and how some will lead to short engine life

As you know, Mazda specifies 5-20 (non-synth) for the USA and Canada.
In the rest of the world, Mazda allows for a range of oil...
For example, this was recently in the Australia section:
If you follow the owner's manual for the '09s in Australia, then you will see that Mazda likes 10w-40 or 10w-50 for all seasons.

I suggest royal purple 5w30 synthetic.
You will need the OMP adapter and some idemitsu 2stroke rotary oil and a reservoir but at least you know EXACTLY how much oil your OMP is using.
Mine barely uses any at all so I am forced to premix to make sure my apex seals are well lubricated. I mix between 4oz-8oz for every full tank of gas, depending on how hard I decide to drive the car.
