New RX-8 Owner
Hi everyone, I'm Ven and a proud new owner of a 2007 Rx-8. I started my car hunt of 4 months with a 2006 automatic Hyundai Tiburon GT. My requirements were a RWD, Coupe,Manual with over 200hp. I literally drove almost everything under the sun available for under $20,000. (and some things over that, but dealers don't need to know that)
The RX-8 was on my list of cars to test drive and I stumbled upon one a 2004 with 130,000 miles with a broken A/C and spoungey clutch. The thing had obviously not been taken care of and I still loved it.
I started researching all about the RX-8 (mostly here) and found out all sorts of interesting things and decided that the cheap way out was not for me because I'd rather not have tons of car problems. 2 months later I was debating between the V6 Genesis Coupe and the RX-8 and I came across a 2007 with 45,000 miles in imaculate condition other than 2 door dings and a little scuff. Had it all checked out at the nearby Mazda dealer and talked the dealership down to 13.5k and here I am. :3
TL:DR I know but its been a long 4 months of car searching and I feel like I found exactly what I was looking for.
Good to meet everyone!

Camera isn't going so well, but the RX-8 is running well. I've installed a Borla Cat-Back exhaust and blacked out the emblems with Plasti-Dip. Hopfully soon I will have time to black out the rims.
Also theres a few paint chips that I plan on taking care of within the next few months. Doing it yourself sure takes time. I've never done anything like this before so it sure is a learning experience.
Pics to be coming within the next month, can't promise anything though.

Thanks man! I am liking it too and with the louder exhaust I like looking at peoples faces when a chick gets out of it.
That white one you have looks pretty good. I am a total fan of red/black interior.

Had my 8 almost two weeks. Used 04 91000 miles. Already had to tear the radio out to fix the heat, gotta bleed the slave cylinder tomorrow because my clutch refuses to fully disengage, gonna gut the cat seeing how its almost definitely going to murder my car, already put a million dollars in the gas tank and still i absolutely love this car!
