new to fourm help

i am in the process of buying an 04 rx8 6 speed with around 52000 miles on it. are these motors as bad as ive been reading about. i get mixed reactions when asking people including the mazda dealerships. thanks for any help.

my first piece of advice is to embrace yourself because your about to get told search by 200 forum members........

No, these engines arent as bad as long as you take care of them. Im on my original engine and all Ive had to do to it was fix some oil leaks, probably cause I drive like an ***. So, search around THIS forum for accurate assessments to your question and I think youll find what your looking for

Change your oil ever 3000 miles, take good care of it, you should be fine.

It's going to take a long time to fill that x/200...haha.

Make sure the car is in great shape. That's a hell of a deal for an RX-8. If it's in good shape, jump on it. These engines are awesome if treated right. Act like it's a Honda, and you're 15 1/2 years old as a beater car, it will treat you like ****.

its from a dealer i know. the title is clear and the car looks awsome. of couse for 14000.00 i can get a 2000 mercedes e55 amg, butn i love the rx8
