or is it because mine's 07?
Ur just lucky. And if turned off cold, best to try to turn it back on right away.

It's hit or miss, I know people who did it all the time and never flood. I didn't think it was ever going to start again following the factory de flood procedure and then all of the sudden it started. I think i may have flooded it one other time but I was having stalling issues and my engine was replaced about that time so I don't really consider it a flood because the engine had been running for a minute or two.

freaked me out yesterday.
the car kinda choked on first try but started on second try.
i know it's not the battery since it's only few month old.
may be it's the plugs?
never replaced once in 3 years cause dealer told me it was still in good condition.
may be they are trying to make mine flood so they can make $$$?

2005 with 50 000 km... Never flooded. Even if I shuted it cold, one time by accident.

I'm sure there is only a marginal number of rx8 that flooded compared to the ones that always run fine. It's only that we ear about the ones that that complains, not the ones that are just happy, like me.
