'06, 40K km, original plugs, never flooded.

Always mindful of making sure the engine is warm before shutting off though.

05 had it 7 months but it was in the shop for a whole month. Never flooded. Multiple start and shut offs in sub 20 winter. But I have LS2 coils and 4K on my plugs. Don't know what kind of starter though and I don't care. Never have problems starting it.

Bumped into a kid with an 04 auto who puts it in park and revs it to 3k before turning the key to "prevent flooding" thought it was stupid.

-'07 vr GT
-24k
-valvoline oils, every pre-3k miles
-occasional high rpm spurts, few spirited drives, otherwise slow shifted normal commutes
-never "revved" during shut-down when moved cold(rare occasion to begin with), or 10sec throttle hold
-still on oem plug coils
-light premix since first mile owned
-oil always brought up to full or kept in-between the next notch, never overfilled.

had other problems...like interior, 1 cooling fan, smart key... but never a flood =)
