also, my times are better when my tank is not nearly empty. half a tank of gas is worth the weight hit to get good traction off the line. the tanks are right next to the rear wheels. if you have drag slicks, then 1/8 of tank is probably where you want to run.

You can make it in the 14's with some practice. You would need to take tire pressure down to around 24psi to prevent whell hop. You would also want launch the car at 5-6k. I ran a 14.7 with my stock 04 this way. Good luck

everytime i drop down to 25psi i get horrible launches. YMMV.

i run at 32psi and can cut a 2 second flat 60 foot consistently. if you can do better, awesome.
