Ok so most of you know I just installed my mazsport ignition upgrade this friday, and alot of people were saying that the kit is not designed or marketed for more power acceleration. Which is fine i did not just buy it for that purpose but, to prove that it does help w/ power and accel. ill tell you my story *which really technically means nothing prolly to anyone*lol

Ok so my g/f knows nothing about my ignition upgrade i bought, she does not live with me and i just never told her. Friday night she decided to go w/ her family out to eat in the city about an hour away, and i did not want to go so i stayed home awaiting for my ignition 3 oclock came and there it was! *appeared out of thin air!* Later around 5 i installed it drove it and seemed like at added more umphhh to my car but the butt dyno could just be telling me this since i wanted it to make my car faster in some way. well the g/f came over and we ended up not going anywhere and me not mentioning anything about what i had done, simply b/c we started watching a movie and i forgot to tell her * I usually always show her what i do to my car b/c she pretends to be interested in my stuff.. lol* so yesterday i go pick her up in my car to go over the the city 15 min away to go to walmart and what not. Now not even 5 minutes in my car after going w.o.t a few times my g/f looks at me and says "what have you done to your car!?" *with a smile on her face*Im like what do you mean? *playin stupid* " Your car feels ALOT faster to me today! Then i smile and realize it wasnt just me who thought this. Then i begin to tell her about my new toy!

So at least for my car the ignition does make a pretty noticeable difference. Just thought i would share my happiness. lol anyways enjoy my GREAT story guys. lol

i wonder how many people have bad coils and are replacing them with the mazport ones, thinking that the mazport ones are responsible for the added HP when in fact they could have just bought oem and had the same effect.

My coils were not bad. Dyno at 198.6 before new Mazsport ignition. Just finnished a track day a month ago.
Keep car in garage, take it for a short spin on the week ends.

Now installed:
Mine seems accelerates faster. I knoe for a fact it is much stronger on the bottom end.

The pedal to the metal bog is gone.

Need track testing and another dyno. Will advise over time.

what exactly do you mean by "major build"? Sounds interesting but wondering if you mean n/a or FI ect.

Nice to hear that the ignition does well! definitely considering that sometime, hoping it pairs well with my nitrous.

May have but my coils were replaced from mazda 3 months ago. so i doubt they would die that fast. and with the new mazda coils my car felt the same as when it was new, nothing better.
