Fuel Injector upgrade!

Mazsport is proud to offer high performance fuel injectors for the RX-8. We are offering 650cc and 720cc injectors that have been designed to be installed using the factory fuel rails eliminating the need to reconfigure fuel lines or connections. Our injectors include all required o-rings, grommets and connectors to help promote a clean, professional installation. For customers with the Interceptor-X E.M.S. mapping is available to allow you to install the upgraded injectors and drive away. Please checkout Mazsport.net for more information.

Guys what would be the pros/cons of upgrading the injectors vs upgrading the entire fuel system?

If you use our 650cc/720cc injector setup in conjunction with our pump kit your fuel system requirements will be complete for 400+rwhp. If you just upgrade the injectors you will at some point exceed the flow capacity of the stock pump.

What is the approximate HP at that point?
Stock fuel system is capable of 280-300 and in some cases even higher HP rates.

How high can it go with just the upgraded Injectors, if at all?
I am curious, because at some point I'll be upgrading my system, right now, I don't know what the turbo is going to be capable of, so I am just asking questions.

This is 650 primaries and 720 secondaries as the recommended setup?

yes, that is correct....

if you are NA you can use just the primary injectors.....primary and seconary are recommended for turbo applications.....

would there be any advantages to upgrading the primaries if you are just NA? Do they have the same piezo hole count like the stock ones? Would the car still idle ok?

300 is about max. you're pushing 100% duty cycle at that point.

my fuel system couldn't support 275 under it's operating conditions (high heat, prolonged heavy load) and I leaned out and detonated
