Alright I finally timed a 0-60 run in my AT 2007 8 so here it is.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUhLjjnemzc

BTW it is completely stock and this is no launch (not that you can really launch in an AT) and me driving with 1 hand holding the camera and the other shifting.

Next time I will get a passenger to record it.

When I used a stopwatch to time it I think it measures in around 7.2 seconds (starting the time when the Tachometer starts to move, the first 1-2 mph are me letting my foot off of the brake).

Yeah I would kill myself clutching on the hills of SF.. been there a few times (not in the 8). I however have to deal with the shitty traffic associated with new york city streets.. I have no problem whatsoever driving a manual transmission car in stop and go traffic. No excuse.

Dude im sorry but comparing an auto to a manual is fail. Admit it , you wouldn't even consider an auto if you werent a lazy old fart , i drive through traffic all the time and its not that its a PIA its more like , wow poor clutch . Of course its a different story when you're talking about an m3 sequential manual gear box with the paddle shifters lol.

I disagree, aside from the obvious difference in power, theyre the same car, same handling capabilities, etc.
