lol granted it is a sausage fest on here, but i think its cause she wrote in complete english sentences, w/o caps, and properly titled her inquiry, so people decided to give her "the time of day." unlike MAZDA QU3STii0N... X.x

yeah it lacks syncros on rev. for my miata and the 8, if its hard to get in reverse just put it in first, let the clutch out a bit, then try for reverse again, works everytime.

It's not supposed to. That is why you have to press the shifter down and then move it over to where reverse is. It's a safety feature. It catches "below" the other gears. (That doesn't really make any sense, LOL). All the the forward gears engage with the shifter in its "normal" position. Reverse is "under" the normal position by being pushed down to be able to get to it.
