the problem with Spokane (where i live) is that there doesn't seem to be any places that know anything about rotaries, they tend to ask me if it's a v6 or a 4 cyl. so needless to say i dont feel like taking it to a place where they dont' know anything about the car itself.

i would notice every once in a while that when i was revving the car at a high rpm that the CEL would go off for about 10 seconds or so and then stop.

How is any of the above in bold the cars fault?!

Sorry to hear about your situation but I think you could save a ton of money doing the work your self.... hit up the DIY section these cars are EXTREMELY easy to work on... especially the tune up....

yeah, true i didn't have to buy the other things and it's not the cars fault, I chose to buy the car knowing it needed more attention than others.
