Redesign the fender vents, rear windows (if they are kept) and under the sideview mirrors so that water doesn't drip for 2 hours after each car wash.

1) An air conditioner that's useless above 85 degrees.

2) Brakes that scream like a banshee.

3) Stock speakers that sound worse than what you could get in a car half its price.

4) Porous sun visors.

i'd like sunroof glass that goes between the out roof and inner headliner. It looks dumb from the back with the sun roof open.

larger stock exhaust diameter... give the after market something better to work with.

better OEM tires. (idk what they put on the '09s. but my '04 came with black round bullshit)

Manual headlight leveling, like in the mazda 3, not automatic ones where the sensors get wet and don't work for weeks.

oil coolers that drain down to the oil pan so jacking up each side of the car isn't required to get all the old oil out.

A rear spoiler that doesn't block the light sensor on a homelink mirror, so the mirror doesn't dim when there is a car right behind . . .

Also, maybe a compass added in the mirror. Just an idea.

+1, ditch the crappy red center display for a dot matrix display at atleast! Same with the MPH. I don't mind digital, but dot matrix display at least! I mean, chevy's use it.

Fog lights that can be turned out without the lights being on. I did the rewire, but could be wired in from the factory.

A radio that is more receptive to aftermarket with out 100 dollar mounting kits.

+1 on factory stereo needing some work. Ditch the bose amps scattered about the car too.

maybe a power rear window? I hate contorting myself to open and close the rears.

1 touch window/open/close on all windows and sun roof.

open or close windows+sun roof by using the key in the door, like a VW, i've always loved that.

Sell the car with a 3 year membership to AAA, and ditch the spare tire or inflation kit.

I think that is about it for now. . .

Stick a 13b MSP in it. One of the few sedans that I think would make a good rotory.

NM scratch that. Put a 13b in your Camry. I am sure you can figure out how to mount it transaxle, or else put it in the trunk with a drive shaft going forward to the front axle. Shifter might have to be backwards.

But hey, it's a Camry.

My clutch pedal is ok for now, except for some slight squealing (makes me worried every time I drive it).
But it's a known issue, because the brackets holding the clutch is very weak.

The need to pre-mix.

Hopefully the post 09 cars have fixed that.

I'd like to see a higher grade of oil recommended in the US.

The number one thing I don't want to see in the next RX car is a naturally aspirated motor. The number two thing is a curb weight over 2800 lbs. Small, light, and turbocharged is what I want out of the next rotary car from Mazda. If they can't provide that, my next car won't be a rotary as much as I love them.
