lol, well as of right now im just seeing what type of loan i can get. I need to check it out but i am thinking it is too good to be true if this dealer is selling a 05 with 28k miles for only 14500. So i will go check out the car on Wednesday but i really like how the black one looks with the appearance kit (lip and sideskirt kit). I also called the local dealer and i have a buddy that works there and basically the black one he said is the best 04 record he has ever seen. For having 52k miles on it the car only had 5 warrenty claims and two were for the sunvisors and others were just little ***** on the radio breaking. It has one recall open for it which is for the latest ecu update. The guy i talked to definitely knew what he was talking about and was very familiar with the 8 and its early year problems so i shall ponder.

I just want to say thanks for being patience with me and for not playing the "beat the **** out of the newb game"

Yes another brilliant black! Good choice. It feels damn good when you first drive that thing off the lot.

Well thank you guys for the help so far and i have been reading up and learning a ton as this Wednesday will hopefully be the day i get my 8. I have another quick question and before i ask it i want to say I HAVE READ THE OIL THREAD ABOUT SYNTHETIC V NON AND HOW ITS A NEVER ENDING BATTLE.... I do not want to start that here My question is what would be a smart way of going about a oil change for my 8 right when i get it. I dont know what the last owner put in and im in texas so would 10-30 be a good choice and i would like to run castrol syntec but i think i would be fine with a non-synthetic but i am just worried that the last owner put in synthetic and i dont want to put regular in and destroy **** .... Thanks and any input is appreciated.

Alright guys well the red one got sold but the dealer did have a 04 SS 6mt GT with the navi, black leather seats and the spoiler... I called the mazda dealer to get information on this one since it has 51k miles on it. Turns out it has a brand new engine in it less then a month old and has had all the recalls done and has basically been in under warranty to have everything fixed so the car itself looks and acts brand new. Only thing i noticed was that its going to need new brakes and the DSC light and swerving car light were on and after pressing the DSC button nothing happened so i was worried about that until i used the search button and realized it most likely just needs to be reset. I am awaiting a call from the dealer tomorrow to see what there final offer will be but personally i love the fact it has a new engine and im assuming mounts. It also had the cat replaced and i love the fact that it has a new engine so i can properly break it in and run the right oil and have that feeling of comfort knowing exactly how its been treated.

Any input would be great

If the DSC and TCS light are on when you turn the car on there might be a problem with the traction control. With 51k miles you might want to check the tranny fluid to see how it is.
