damn guys, it was just a simple question.

this really isn't a math issue, its just that i have been so accustomed to doing it the wrong way [using the amount of gas left on the gauge] instead of using the amount of gallons i have filled up on the receipt, that this way seemed kind of odd to me since i have never really done it like that.
