This is about the 3rd time you've said this, which is misleading. One person even mentioned this to you. I wonder why you insist on making this totally misleading statement repeatedly, it's just odd.
Your statement makes it appear that you have 128,000 miles on your engine, which you do not have. Your rebuilt engine is a different engine from your original engine. Even if your rebuilt one was the same engine as your original, you would still have to delineate the miles on each engine, respectively.
Your original engine lasted about 110,000 miles, your rebuilt one about 18,000 miles so far.

This topic seems vaguely familar to me....
I've had the pleasure since March of last year to take my 2004 4AT from 8,000 miles up to a whopping 21,000.
Went back to page 2 and read your post expo1... made perfect sense to me.

I think your reading skills need to be improved, I have never claimed to have 128,000 miles on my original engine. In post 28 of this thread Razz posted that I had rebuilt my engine. I quoted his post and said that he was CORRECT. That it happened around 110,000 which still is a good amount of miles to have on a original engine. I then updated my current total milage. 128,000 still using the original trans, and CAT by the way.
Razz merely stated that you rebuilt your engine. Why in the world would you respond by saying "I now have 128,000 miles"? No one would ever say that. Your rebuilt engine isn't even the same engine.
Wouldn't just about anyone say that he got 110,000 miles on the original engine and is up to about 18,000 miles on the rebuilt engine? Of course just about anyone would say it that way. However you say the numbers, you've got to qualify those numbers.
In addition, you did the same sort of thing in a totally different thread in which you were not responding to someone else's comments. And someone brought this to your attention in that other thread as well. Why in the hell would you repeatedly do this sort of thing? Why is this total mileage thing so important to you that it would cause you to obfuscate the numbers?
You even try to bring in additional info that btw you are still using the original trans and CAT. This is totally irrelevant information. You're not using the original engine. Period. You're still trying to wiggle when there's no room for wiggling.
Expo, you need to fess up here. As an oldtimer who has earned a lot of respect here over the years, you're risking your credibility. You're not in the high mileage club anymore, you don't have 128,000 miles. Period. It's not a big deal. What's up with the neurotic obsession? Just say it the way it is. I find this extremely strange.

Of course it didn't make perfect sense to you. At face value, it would appear he's saying he got 110,000 miles on the original engine and 128,000 miles on the rebuilt engine. He only has 18,000 on the rebuilt engine so just about anyone would say 110,000 on the original and 18,000 so far on the rebuilt.
Speaking in terms of total miles is ridiculous. Total rotary miles. Total miles driving cars. Total miles on a motorcycle. Total rotary miles versus total piston engine miles. Total Mazda miles. No one does that. No one would do that. No one reading would be able to decode it without additional info or previous knowledge about that person's history.
Oh, apparently my reading skills don't need to be improved.

You're now trying to play a semantics game that can't work for you no matter how you twist the words.

Of course internet forums are socio-political networks but my words in this thread are independent of that. And along this line, it's clear I didn't try to start any ridiculous argument or argument.

No offense but this is not a socio-political game I'm playing. I'm focused only on what was repeatedly typed, not on who did the typing.

1. They don't know what to do with their milky dipstick
2. They don't know the best time to put on their winter tires
3. They don't know that mazmart rebuilt expo's engine with an indepth rebuild thread

Shelldude, are you a total idiotdude?
I've read that rebuild thread very closely. What was interesting was the carbon deposits he had, which encouraged him and others to maybe reduce the amount of premix for each tank of gas.
Whether or not I read that thread is totally irrelevant to what I have said in this thread.
When my friends, both high and low status in various community networks, make mistakes, I tell them straight up. I don't need to massage their egos. I don't need to suck up to them. They appreciate it. You understand?

Dont be angry becuase everyone is telling YOU when YOU make a mistake and not sucking up to you.
You're argueing over NOTHING and being a dramaqueen. Let it die, no one cares that expo mistakingly said he has 128K on his rebuild instead of 18K. W
We were all smart enough to know the difference but apparently it confused you and made you very angry
Maybe that's why no one else seems to care except you??
