Highest Mileage 2004 on original original engine?
Who has the highest mileage on a 2004 model with an original engine?
I've heard that the 2004's might have had issues due to not enough oil being used by the engine.
I have almost 60K on my original engine 2004 model.
Has anyone hit 150K yet on a 2004? 200K?

dec 5th, lambert had hit over 168k.
expo1 is over 100k. probably over 150k by now.. hit that milemarker back in 07. few others were close to or over 100k in expo1's thread... advanced search his name by topics he started.

Actually, I saw something like this :https://www.rx8club.com/search.php?searchid=4400793
without my thread at the top.
I'm looking for specific info (and an update) on 2004 models with original engines which may have had their long term reliability compromised by engine management issues.
Hence, I started a new thread.

Helping someone right now diagnose her 04 auto with 150k on it. Just got it started up last week after she flooded it, Still have some debug to do as she has some other issues, so don't know yet if motor is gone or not.
Update: The motor is not gone, runs just fine........for now!
