Front plate states

I was curious how many states required front license. AZ does not. It kinda looks like a rabbit with the plate in the mouth.

In Cali. you are required to have a front plate. I got warned/fix it ticket a few times for this.

Cam beat me to it, but I had a question that goes with it. Anyone know the if you are registered in Washington State (front plate required), but living in Florida (not required)?

I think you still have to have 'em, but I'm concerned about the heat down here, and blocking most of the grill.

The grill does little cooling as the radiator leans forward to catch the air coming in from the lower "rotary accent" area and beneath. If you look closely, the upper part of the grill is solid, only the lower 1/3 of the grill allows air and that is for the stock air intake which is located on the passenger side of this grill.

As Megareds said, required in IL and I have the warning ticket to prove it. Only got that because they are cracking down on no seat belts and I got pulled over for a check (I always wear my seat belt) and got a warning for 35% tint on the front side windows and no front license plate. The state police around here sometimes have nothing better to do.

NJ = yes. I ran 7 months without it, and didn't get stopped until this past weekend. Got off with a verbal "fix it". Alas, the plate is now installed...

Just don't go through the midtown tunnel- they look for the easy tickets and yell 9/11!! as a reason to nail you.

I think it's unlikely that the cops in FL will hassle you about not having a front plate.

In MO trucks over 18000 lbs require only a front plate. I know some guys that have been stopped in other states for not having a rear plate. They didn't get ticketed, but the cops gave them a warning, the "you're not in MO anymore" BS.

MO-yes

MI no. I hate front plates...I've seen Vipers with them and that's just wrong. You destroy the look of the car completely with that little rectangle.

Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC - Yes - but mine is off with no trouble so far (knock on wood). I've been warned to stay out of DC without a front plate.

MA - Yes...no complaints yet....most people with modded cars around here put them on the top of their dashes against the window......not a bad idea....
